Notable Children's Books of 2022- From the American Library Association

For even more ideas, take a look at this list complied by the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) of Notable Books for Children. They define "notable" as: "Worthy of note or notice, important, distinguished, outstanding . . . books that exhibit venturesome creativity, and books of fiction, information, poetry and pictures for all age levels (birth through age 14) that reflect and encourage children's interests in exemplary ways." This list always includes all American Library Association's Youth Media Award Winners, such as the Newbery, Caldecott,  Belpré, and Geisel Award and Honor books.
